A party with a mountain theme? Hummm, Do you remember Little Abner, and Daisy Mae. I can see it now. A tumble down mountain shack, with all those Hunky looking mountain men running around, no shirts and cut off pants. And the outfits for us gals..Short, shorts and phesant tops with the sleeves half way down the arms. Good thing virtual makes us skinny. Everyone running thru the hills and jumping around ( which we can now do because we haven't smoked in sooooo long.)
Mammie over there brewing up a potion for pappy. And Pappy working on the moonshine. Big old haystacks for hiding from the nicodemon in. And real guns to shoot the sucker if he finds us.
Yep, I can see you over there now sitting on the front porch in your rocker, with your shawl wrapped around you and your mountain harp in your lap. Just a plucking out those old soft songs. Excuse me..I got to go check on the chittlins and blackeyed peas. Who is making that poke salad? I found some more dandilions.

WOW! Look at us! Almost at the end of our 6 months tenancy. Before you know it we will be moving on to the over a year site. But before we do, we need to do some clean up and find a really special gift to leave to those we are leaving this space to.
We have many friends who are traveling with us, and many others who are behind us and in front of us. In the last year, we have met many wonderful people. And would not still be here if they had not been willing to give a little of themselves when we ran short of courage or energy.
So get this place clean, and lets go find that special gift.
