Going to a doctor is so cost prohibitive that I just can't do it. I can't afford it and certainly not for this.
I broke down and got another box of NRT. I'll have to find some way of dealing with this.

Tryagain,
Just want to let you know you are not alone there with the cravings. I have them all the time and I am trying to wean myself off Chantix. If I can't do this I am going to have the doctor give me something to either replace the Chantix or just stay on one a day that is as far as I have been able to wean without going crazy. I was a hard smoker for many years maybe that is why and I am not about to give up this quit. Lets both contact the doctors and see what they have to say. Better to stay on a pill or NRT than light up. :) Hang in there we will find a way to beat this.
Glad to see you hired a helper at work you really have been doing to much. Wish I could find a groomer by me that was open afer 5:00. :)

Tryagain,
So sorry to hear you are having a rough time. Are you getting nivcotine from any other source? Like second hand smoke. After all this time you should not be craving so bad. I would definetly talk to the DR. Do anything but don't smoke! Sending some positive vibes for your quit via e-mail. :)

Has anyone done it? I don't mean going back to smoking, that's not a backslide, it's a relapse. But going back to whatever aid you used to quit smoking in the first place before you start smoking. For instance, before you light up that cig, pop on a patch even if you stopped wearing the patch already.
If these craves do not end, and end fairly quickly I'm contemplating a backslide. I can't live like this, nor be expected by anyone to put up with these intense cravings. Not after this long smoke free.
