There are always "stories" or tales going around that are put out there to get a rise out of people. No one can predict the future and that's what's great about life, we have to take it one day at a time.
Remember when everyone thought there was going to be a big disaster in 2000? I never understood this idea, because calenders aren't alive - they have nothing to do with the physical world. The world itself doesn't somehow "know" that certain numbers will line up in our man-made system of keeping track of time.
