I had an elderly aunt who was not very worldly who's husband was dying. He had lost so much weight and had no appetite. She once said she had read where marijuana increases the appetite and said she knew her garbage collector sold it and wondered what I thought about that.
I told her it was illegal, and then finished with 'it couldn't hurt'---goodness he was terminal! He died three days after my visit. I called my aunt immediately and she said, "I know what you're thinking, but it was just his time. The trash isn't collected until Thursday!"
She is my favorite aunt!
