Hi JD,
I guess it's not the doing that concerns me. It's just that my brain isn't responding as I mourn, and it's more muddled than before. It's was bad enough before.
Now it's worse, because everything is foggy, and I feel sluggish.
And I did accept a lunch invitation, but I should have check whether there was a full moon, since they were really rude. I should block all their calls, but I can't on my cellphone.
Like the old classic song goes....I've lost that lovin' feeling. Church is safe though, and there's a nice mass tonight for mourners.
After reading your posts I recalled something I had recently read in a book and a memory of finding a silver cross in a parking lot, it still lays on my best friends dashboard where I placed it after finding it 3 years ago. I had also bookmarked the page for no particular reason at the time.
Don't just do something, sit there!
Sometimes, doing nothing is the healthiest decision.
When I read this in the book, it struck me as odd. But if you think about it, you can read a book you haven't gave yourself time to read. You can watch a movie you have put off, You can put your feet up and relax for a short bit. There are 24 hours in a day and you get to choose how you spend those 24 hours. You can sit and make a calendar of the things you want to do and accomplish and check them off one at a time as you do them. I have done that and am working on my to do list calender each day. If I don't get something done off the list, it waits until the next day and that's the first thing on my list to do. I don't feel badly if everything doesn't get done, if I am tired, or something else comes up, or if I decide it can wait for tomorrow. Give yourself your 24 hours to spend how you want. They're your 24 hours.
I wonder if anyone can relate to finding things?
I found a bunge cord, which is short, and had to bring it home on the subway yesterday.
I can't understand what use this is. Maybe it's just that I feel so overwhelmed, that I can't find time to do all the things I wish to do: shop, compare things, return what I don't like, etc.
With finding something, I guess if I don't like it, I can discard it.
It seems I wish to find a purpose for the item, rather than the other way around.
